Browser calls to United States / Canada
Call United States / Canada from your browser
Use FiraPhone as a focused Skype dial-pad replacement for calls to real phone numbers. Check the landline and mobile GBP rates for +1 numbers before you add balance or start a call.
999 and 112 calls are free. FiraPhone cannot detect your location, so tell the operator where you are.

How it works
A simple workflow for occasional international calls
FiraPhone keeps the old Skype Credit job narrow: check the rate, keep prepaid balance in GBP, and call from a browser when you need to reach a real phone number.
Confirm the destination
The dial pad checks configured rates for +1 numbers before the call connects.
Use prepaid balance
Start with a small GBP top-up. No monthly phone-system contract is required.
Call from the browser
Use a modern browser, microphone permission, and a stable internet connection.
Good fit
Built for the phone-number part of Skype
This is not a meeting suite. It is a browser dialer for outbound calls where a real number is still the easiest way to reach a person or organisation.

Replacing the old Skype dial pad without installing an app
999 and 112 calls are free, but FiraPhone cannot detect your location and needs power and internet. Availability of other destinations depends on the configured rate table.
