FiraPhone was born from a simple frustration: why does it cost so much to call family abroad? Traditional carriers charge outrageous rates, and existing VoIP solutions are clunky and confusing.
When Microsoft retired Skype in 2025, the simple dial-pad use case still remained. We saw an opportunity to build a focused calling service that is affordable and works right in your browser.
