The basic setup
A browser dialer needs microphone permission, a stable internet connection, prepaid calling balance, and a destination number in international format. No desktop app should be required for the core outbound call.
What browser calling is good at
It is useful when you are travelling, working from a laptop, calling a business abroad, or avoiding roaming charges. You can check the destination rate first and keep the call separate from your mobile plan.
What it cannot replace
Browser VoIP should not be your emergency phone. If you need 999, 112, or 911, use a mobile phone or traditional line that supports location-aware emergency calling.
